Alerce Tree (Fitzroya Cupressacea)

This timber has a natural resonance frequency of 174 Hz, which is excellent for building guitar tops.
The natural resonant frequency represents the grouping of the mechanical properties, because it depends on the density, tangential and radial hardness, as well as elasticity. Given the anatomical properties, Alerce wood develops greater vibration obtaining improved response to lower and middle frequencies resulting in a sweeter, fuller, warmer sound.

Indian Rosewood (Dalbergia latifolia)

With our long tradition in guitar making, we use the Indian Rosewood on the back, sides and fingerboards. It delivers the full, rich bass response and sharp crystalline high pitches with long sustainability. We only use quarter sawn Rosewood.

Bolivian Mahogany (Swietenia sp)

Very similar to Honduran Mahogany, usually used for the guitar's backs, rims, mahogany is known for its clear harmonics. This hardwood is strong, stable and light.
